About me
I got into IT because I like helping people, and I’ve never stopped treating it that way.
For five years at Best Buy, as an Apple Mobility Advisor, I helped 100+ customers a week with phones, laptops and smart-home devices, explaining the problem in plain language and earning top customer satisfaction ratings. That’s the habit I bring to every ticket: listen first, fix it properly, and leave the person more confident than when they asked.
Today I’m the Technology Coordinator at Bard High School Early College Manhattan, looking after the school’s technology end to end, from devices and accounts to training the staff and students who use them. Before that, as the IT point of contact for a New York City public school in Astoria, I managed 250 user accounts across Active Directory and Entra ID, looked after more than 300 Windows, macOS and ChromeOS devices, and worked through 20–25 tickets a day, from password resets and MFA to patch panels and classroom AV. Most were solved on first contact; the rest were escalated with clear notes.
I’m also excited about where IT is heading. I use prompt engineering with Copilot and ChatGPT to draft PowerShell and Python scripts, write documentation and triage tickets, and I’ve used the same approach for web development, including this site. I’m especially interested in AI-assisted workflows and data analysis, and I’ve used Power BI to track sales and service KPIs.
